In the last five years or so I&#8217;ve done some&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>art for wellbeing with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saoirsemorgan.com\/\">Saoirse Morgan<\/a>  at Aberystwyth Arts Centre (fun, friendly, low pressure)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>abstracting the landscape (online, self-paced) with <a href=\"https:\/\/angharadtaris.com\/\">Angharad Taris<\/a> (online, allegedly self-paced but with buckets of work, this course really stretched me) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a couple of one-day things on watercolour and composition with <a href=\"https:\/\/aberdabbadoo.com\/home\/\">Alison Pierse<\/a> &#8211; and also an in-person course with her on watercolour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a one-day print making thing I can&#8217;t remember the tutor of, and a few other one day things.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Most recently I&#8217;ve done a course on Digital Drawing online with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sarah_bowe_illustration\/\">Sarah Bowe<\/a> which I am just submitting the final piece for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the course, if anyone is interested: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aber.ac.uk\/en\/lifelong-learning\/courses\/course\/details\/CL109_XK15605\/\">https:\/\/www.aber.ac.uk\/en\/lifelong-learning\/courses\/course\/details\/CL109_XK15605\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final piece (for me) looks like this and is a digital sketch of penglais woods in a sort of manga style.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hannahdee.wales\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/bluebellwood-graphic-1024x768.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1922\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hannahdee.wales\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bluebellwood-graphic-1024x768.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.hannahdee.wales\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bluebellwood-graphic-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.hannahdee.wales\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bluebellwood-graphic-768x576.png 768w, https:\/\/www.hannahdee.wales\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bluebellwood-graphic-425x319.png 425w, https:\/\/www.hannahdee.wales\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bluebellwood-graphic.png 1070w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve enjoyed the course on one level but I think I&#8217;ll stick to analog drawing &#8211; the arty side of me works better away from a computer. I have learned a bit about organisation and structure in digital work, and also about brushes and so on.
