It&#8217;s about finding spicy ingredients in Grenoble.<\/p>\r\n<p>Here are some Google Streetview links to the various shops, just in case you want to find out what they look like:<\/p>\r\n<p><b>Sa&iuml;gon Store, 6 Rue Doudart de Lagr&eacute;e 38000\r\nGrenoble<\/b> has a range of mostly Vietnamese products &#8211; good range of\r\nnoodles, some fresh exotic vegetables and some frozen stuff, and a\r\nhuge range of spices. They also open late (indeed,\r\nthere is even a Facebook fan page calling them the &#8220;<a href =\r\n\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/group.php?gid=26054508216\">Oasis nocturne de\r\nGrenoble<\/a>&#8220;). <\/p>\r\n\r\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"350\" height=\"197\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" marginheight=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/maps.google.fr\/maps\/sv?cbp=11,173.52,,0,2.43&amp;cbll=45.191279,5.721791&amp;v=1&amp;panoid=cSWqCHopQYOKHK8IndFUFQ&amp;gl=&amp;hl=en\"><\/iframe><br \/><small><a  href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.fr\/maps?cbp=11,173.52,,0,2.43&#038;cbll=45.191279,5.721791&#038;ll=45.191279,5.721791&#038;layer=c\" style=\"color:#0000FF;text-align:left\">View Larger Map<\/a><\/small>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><b>World Market, 24 Avenue Felix Viallet, 38000 Grenoble<\/b> is\r\nanother small and packed shop, selling food from all over the world.\r\nA good range of Pataks curry sauces, Thai and Viet and Japanese and\r\nChinese food, manioc flour, couscous, hummus, falafel&#8230; They even\r\nhave instant &#8220;P&atilde;o do queijo&#8221; packet mixes if you&#8217;re after a\r\ncheesy Brazilian junkfood snack. This shop doesn&#8217;t have the largest range of stock, and isn&#8217;t very cheap. But they do have lots of spice!<\/p>\r\n\r\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"350\" height=\"197\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" marginheight=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/maps.google.fr\/maps\/sv?cbp=12,359.39,,1,0.84&amp;cbll=45.188070,5.718457&amp;v=1&amp;panoid=Qx3BvhAcc349sVGWrcD0lg&amp;gl=&amp;hl=en\"><\/iframe><br \/><small><a  href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.fr\/maps?cbp=12,359.39,,1,0.84&#038;cbll=45.188070,5.718457&#038;ll=45.188070,5.718457&#038;layer=c\" style=\"color:#0000FF;text-align:left\">View Larger Map<\/a><\/small>\r\n\r\n<p><b>Supermarch&eacute; Siam Bangkok, 38, Avenue La Bruy&egrave;re,\r\n38100 Grenoble<\/b> is a slightly out of town (on the A tram, stop La\r\nBruy&egrave;re) supermarket, which claims to be a Thai supermarket but\r\nis actually much more international, stocking fufu flour and couscous\r\nand a lot of other stuff I don&#8217;t know what to do with. The range is\r\nsimilar to that of the World Food Store, but the floorspace is larger\r\nand there seems to be an awful lot of dried fish.
